This week in LA we completed our School Wide Write. The guiding question was “if you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go and why?” We reviewed parts of a story, e.g. conflict, resolution, characters. We also discussed the importance of keeping our reader interested by adding details, similes, and adjectives.

Math
This week we learned about a new long division strategy: partial products. Ask me to show you this method! We just learned so I might be a little rusty.
Social Studies
In social studies, we examined three cartoons and discussed the terms equality, fairness and equity. Look carefully at each photo. How do each of these cartoons demonstrate equality, fairness, and equity. How could we promote equity in our community?
On Friday, our class took part in the dance showcase, which highlighted all the classes in the school's skill in dancing. Way to go Ranchlands!!!
